My name is Ryan Nachreiner and I am excited to be the principal at Auburn High School.
The 2025-2026 school year will be my 15th year in public education. My journey in education started in Maricopa, Arizona, where I taught high school physical education and health education. The next stop of my voyage was at Flinn Middle School in Rockford. I was a teacher at Flinn for two years before serving as an assistant principal for six years. Two years ago, I had the opportunity to serve as an assistant principal at Auburn High School and had the pleasure of working with the staff, students, and families of our Auburn Knights. This will be my second year as building principal and I will continue to work with the stakeholders of Auburn to enhance the learning experience for our students.
In addition to my professional achievements, my greatest accomplishment is my family. I am a husband to a supportive, loving wife, Kristi, who also works in public schools supporting families. We also have two children, Addison (12) and Kayson (7). As a parent, I always want the best for my children and this perspective drives me to ensure your children have the best possible experiences and opportunities at Auburn High School.
