About Us:

The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of Illinois (AASP-IL) began as a local repair organization in the early 1960s, primarily in the Chicago metro area. Over the years this association evolved into a statewide voice for the vehicle collision and mechanical repair industry. This community of professionals reaches across the 102 counties in Illinois. Historically, AASP-IL focused on key legislative issues to strengthen business and consumer protection against unfair business practices.

Currently, our focuses include: monitoring legislation to protect consumers and our industry; educating shop owners; supporting automotive collision repair education institution programs, and connecting students with quality-focused shops.
