MTI was established in 1995 in Lincoln, Illinois. The MTI Springfield, IL campus opened in 2007, replacing the original MTI campus.

MTI Springfield is a trade school in Illinois that offers hands-on programs and courses in the allied health and mechanical trades fields. The Springfield, IL campus offers training in HVAC, welding, medical assisting, dental assisting, phlebotomy, and more.
